It could have perks like etheral refugee or steadfast, so it had some chance to survive. Necromancer could help with raising Banshee, or we can threat it as throw away unit to just apply weaken. Necromancer generally have hard times with getting good zombies.īanshee - the idea of unit is very cool, but also the gameplay is a bit suicidal. Necromancer could start with summoning free zombie and still have rise undead as ultimate. Otherwise it is worse than Hundmaster, as huntmaster at least summons pet at start of combat. Rise undead could be good if we can rise undead warbread or something. Necromancer, it sucks that it is support unit without a heal, even heal just for undeads. Why can't the necromancers come with a starting zombie, as well as a cooldown of 2 turns on the raise dead spell? Why cant the zombies have a spell "dig for corpses" that spawns a corpse the necromancer can raise? The necromancers ere are being outsummoned by the druids, and the druids are also better in terms of ranged combat. If you look at the houndmaster, he summons a hound at combat start. But the problem is that it shouldn't be this way, and it doesn't have to be. Over 3 turns, they will summon 6 zombies in total, and the necromancers will reraise 2 of them. If we bring in a necromancer hero with the extremely rare t4 staff of inioch, and full necromancer abilities, this evens the fight out somewhat. The reaper needs to have a death touch with no movement point cost as well as killing momentum just to be competitive as a melee unit in this matchup, and the horned god will outsummon the unit in the game that should be the most prolific summoner. Those glade runners will just stand back and pound the reaper to dust if he waits for them to close. it requires standing still, and doesnt have good range. Whats up with that? And the reaper ultimate move. And on that note, the reaper buff does not apply to corrupt souls. So those reaper buffs are non existent for those zombie bois. Only to the units in stack at beginning of the fight. The reaper does not grant its aura to the combat summons. And they blow the necromancer supports out of the water. The reason it isn't good is that those 4 gladerunners scale better than the banshees with enchantments in 1v1 combat. And to do so, they need to get kills first, which. In addition, they get to summon 6 vine thingies which count for minions cause the enemy spends time whacking them down. And they don't need to get any kills to do so.
